The Sonoko series combines traditional Japanese tea culture with modern Western philosophy. In Japan, the ritual of the Japanese tea ceremony is associated with inner reflection and regeneration, but also with hospitality.
The design is intended to be reminiscent of the traditional Japanese lantern shape. Timeless and minimalistic thanks to circular elements combined with straight lines.

The series includes a teapot with matching warmer, tea bowl, cup and mug with matching saucer. The wooden tray made of willow wood with rounded corners complements the porcelain elements.
