One tray by German designer David Meier is good - two trays are even better! The new PALUA tray is available in two different shapes that can be used separately but also fit perfectly together. When you put them together, they almost form a unified shape, creating an ideal arrangement on the windowsill, your kitchen counter or your dining table. The simple, raised construction makes the tray an ideal base for plants, sculptures or other valuable items in the home. It also allows for further everyday use by replacing a traditional fruit basket or serving plate with PALUA - either alone or together to complement each other as an ideal pair. The PALUA oak board set is handmade from solid untreated oak. For constant contact with food, oiling the wood is essential. This protects the wood from discoloration and ensures that food odors and bacteria do not settle on the wooden surface. We recommend sunflower oil for this. The serving boards can be rinsed with warm water. However, soaking in water should be avoided as this can cause cracks in the wood.
