The traditional manufacturing method of the hand-blown glass items in the LUNGO series not only creates the typical features such as bubbles, streaks or color variations: Experienced glassblowers can also work specifically with the thickness of the material, which was used as a design feature of the series: the wall thickness of approx. 3 mm, the clear ice base and the correct, angular cut of the edges. In combination with the natural material oak, which was colored for the lids of the carafe, individual items are created through different growth directions and characteristics. In contrast to the glass body, the wooden lids must not be cleaned in the dishwasher.
