The PLANETS span the long tradition of glass art in the Eisch glassworks to modern design. Our glassmakers implement my designs with great skill by applying old glassmaking techniques in a new context. Seconds and the smallest of movements at the hot glass furnace determine the color and surface structure. The liquid glass mass changes its character during production; it glows, steams and flows. In these moments, the glass is reminiscent of glowing hot suns in the universe. The coloring inside the objects creates spring, summer, autumn and winter PLANETS, each of which is unique.
