The Eva Solo brand was created in 1997 and stands for everyday objects in exclusive design. The main characteristics are simplicity, clear lines and high utility value. The Eva Solo brand includes the product categories Cooking, Serving, Living and Outdoor.
The Nordic kitchen knives were conceived and designed based on the Japanese model. The blades are made of 67-layer Damascus steel and the cutting edges are ground on both sides at an angle of 13-15°. This gives them their sharpness - without compromising on the flexibility of the blades. Thanks to a narrow knife back, ingredients can be easily cut - but avoid frozen goods and bones. The knife handle is ergonomically shaped and the knife neck is designed as a thumb rest so that the knife can be moved more precisely and more pressure can be applied. In addition, the edge of the blade is rounded at the top. Thanks to a hardness of 60, the knives are wear-resistant.
A Santoku is a special chef's knife that can be used to cut up meat, fish and vegetables. It is, in a way, the Asian version of the western chef's knife. The hollow grind makes kitchen work even easier, as meat and vegetables come away easily from the narrow blade. This makes the knife ideal for precise cutting of wafer-thin slices or small cubes. The knife handle is shaped so that it is always stable and safe in the hand.
