The modern crystal glass series Punk sets strong accents.
London, a city that constantly questions the status quo and drives creative innovation at a rapid pace, inspired the young up-and-coming designer Anke Buchmann at the world-famous Central Saint Martins art and design school to create this new, very extroverted next-gen design for Nachtmann.

By designing a barware series in which stylized rivets protrude, almost breaking out of the surface, I rebelled against the establishment. I celebrated the 40th anniversary of the punk movement and the mutual inspiration of punk and luxury - a trend that is currently also significant in fashion, emphasizes Anke Buchmann.

Classic punk symbols such as rivets and grids find expression in the shapes and surfaces of bar glasses and carafes, allowing the designer to shatter the classic image of crystal with her punk attitude.
