The SPHERE crystal glass series was created in 2013 as part of the NextGen Design project in cooperation with the renowned Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design in Prague.
Designer Roman Kvita says of the glass collection he designed: I was inspired by the simplest of all geometric shapes, the sphere. I was fascinated by the spectacular refraction of light that is created by round shapes.
The SPHERE series was awarded the Red Dot Design Award 2015 and the German Design Award Special Mention 2016 for its outstanding design.
