The diamond-shaped, machine-blown Pinot Noir glass from the striking Extreme glass series is particularly suitable for New World wines. This bowl shape underlines the taste of peat and plum, which are characteristic of the sensual Pinot Noir wines. Extreme glasses are named after their extreme contour and have diamond-shaped bowls that slope strongly outwards before narrowing at the top edge. The result is an exceptionally wide evaporation surface that intensifies and refines the smoothness of the New World wines, which tend to be more fruity, in the mouth.
