The diamond-shaped, machine-blown Riesling glass from the striking Extreme glass series is particularly suitable for New World wines. The shape of the glass best supports floral white wines - aroma and taste are dominated by fermented grape juice and the taste of yeast. Extreme glasses are named for their extreme contour and have diamond-shaped bowls that slope sharply outwards before narrowing at the top edge. The result is an exceptionally wide evaporation surface that intensifies and refines the smoothness of New World wines, which tend to be more fruity, in the mouth.
