The decorative, machine-blown Shiraz glass from the technologically sophisticated Performance glass series is the ultimate enhancer for fine wines. The shape of this glass expresses the aromas of toasted bread and black olives that are characteristic of Shiraz wines. On the palate, it presents the silky, velvety structure and balanced taste. The tannins melt with the fruit and have a sweet rather than tart effect on the back of the palate. This newly developed RIEDEL glass series is the first to feature goblets with a slight optical effect that not only gives the glass an attractive appearance, but also enlarges its inner surface. All RIEDEL glasses are dishwasher safe.
