This shape is the winner of the design competition held in 1978 by the sparkling wine brand Carstens. Originally, the glass was sold exclusively by Carstens. However, customer demand was so great that this glass was included in the Sommeliers series and is now recommended as ideal for sparkling wine.

Recommended for: Champagne cocktails, Kir, sparkling wine, Prosecco.
