Riedel Vinum XL vintage champagne glass, champagne glass, sparkling wine glass, high-quality glass, 340 ml, set of 2, 6416/28

A design by Claus J. Riedel from 1967, which was developed for the Austrian pavilion at the World Expo in Montreal. In 2006, the famous champagne house Moet & Chandon contacted Riedel Glas to find the right glass for the legendary 2000 vintage. The Moet & Chandon team spent several weeks looking at different shapes and then defining this shape as ideal for presenting their champagne. The presentation of the classic, unique aroma of the wine with the interplay of perlage, fruit and acidity convinced the tasters.

The Vinum XL series is - like all machine-made glasses - manufactured in Riedel's own factories in Bavaria. The highest precision manufacturing technology, developed by our engineers, gives the glass excellent quality properties. The glass composition is designed for optimal dishwasher resistance.
