The cookie cutters are made of tinplate. Tinplate is a traditional material that has been used in all households for decades. The surface is rust-proof, but not rust-proof and therefore not suitable for the dishwasher. Städter recommends rinsing the mold after use and drying it thoroughly immediately. Grandma's tip for perfect drying: After rinsing and drying the tinplate cookie cutters, place them on the warm heater overnight or in the oven while they are still warm straight after baking until it has cooled down.
