”Capelano” was introduced in autumn 2004 and represents the latest addition to Stelton norstaal. The preparation and presentation of food is now an expression of lifestyle, table settings have changed and plates are larger than ever. It was natural to develop a cutlery that that takes these modern views into account and the result was Capelano: a completely new and different design language with a long, slender and elegant design in which aesthetics and function go hand in hand. This is especially true for the knife, whose rotation between handle and cutting edge a design feature that is often copied but rarely achieved. Compared to the other design classics from Stelton norstaal, Capelano is the young rebel - a very original and successful one that fits perfectly with the table furnishings of modern homes.
