A cheese slicer that is extremely elegant in its simplicity, where form and functionality form a unity. Designer Martin Rosquist played with Stelton's DNA, namely the Cylinda line, and used the basic cylindrical shape as a starting point for his design process. The shape arose from the desire to reduce friction between cheese and slice as much as possible, as this is how the most beautiful cheese slices are created. This is why the blade was placed as far out as possible on the cheese slicer. The handle and slicer are one and together form a single, curved shape. Nothing is superfluous and nothing is left to chance in this design. This is most likely also the reason why the Wave cheese slicer was included in the collection of the MoMA design shop in New York shortly after its launch in 1997. The cheese slicer is suitable for both soft and hard cheese.
