“Maya 2000” was introduced in response to the new times of the turn of the century. It culminated in Tias Eckhoff revising his own, already outstanding design pattern once again, almost 40 years after he created one of the most important contributions to Scandinavian design. Maya 2000 has the same appearance as its classic sister cutlery “Maya”, but it is when you look at the details that the differences become apparent: Maya 2000 is longer and slimmer than its sister, so that the triangular basic shape on which both series are based now appears much more streamlined and thus fits in with even the most modern table settings.
